Apollo Robo is an undeveloped leader Robo and a planned character for 2003 ~ 2004 Japanese cartoon Machine Robo Rescue.
Apollo would be Machine Robo Rescue’s first attempt of creating a leader Robo for space mission. He would also come along with four Space Robo to form the limbs, becoming Hyper Apollo Robo.
However, to develop the super AI prepare for Machine commander Robo, this project was scrapped. His replacement for space team was Jet Robo with rocket engine originally intended to come with Apollo Robo, leading Jet to become Shuttle Robo.
He would transformed into a rocket.
Biography[]
Originally, Machine Robo Rescue head quarter intended to make a space rescue team followed by Jet Robo’s defeat by Stealth Robo in Episode 45. Thus, the Apollo Robo is developed to designated to be part of the space rescue team. However, to develop Machine Commander Robo, the super AI intended for Apollo Robo was used for Machine Commander Robo instead. His replacement was the upgraded Jet Robo known as Shuttle Robo. The Space Robo and all the equipments for Apollo Robo moved onto Jet Robo to adapt in space rescue.

- Having the character added into the roster, Apollo Robo will likely be in Red wing division of Machine Robo Rescue. Which are responsible for aerial rescue and firefighting operations. Just Like his replacement Jet Robo/Shuttle Robo.
- Though it is also likely that Apollo Robo will have his own division, due to his special nature of his mission, similar to Stealth Robo that joined later in the series. He will also likely to have a unique color, presumably Black and white like the real life Apollo rocket.
- Each Leader Robo have his own Robo master partner. For Apollo Robo will likely to be Taiyoh Ohzora, who is the partner of Jet Robo. Though the possibility of Apollo Robo have his own Robo master still exists.
- The first discovery of this character is in episode 46, where the first 3 seconds shown a concept alongside description of an unproduced Leader Robo. This episode is uploaded by YouTuber MechaKingStudio.[1]
- Apollo Robo seems also would have an unproduced figure based on this unused design. Though the reason why it got cancelled was remained uncertain.
- Have Apollo Robo be produced, He will be the 8th Leader Robo produced by Machine Robo Rescue counting Stealth Robo, as well as the 11th Leader Robo appear in the cartoon counting BL Leader Robo.
