Balder The Brave was a planned member of Illuminati in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, he is Thor’s half brother.
He would be played by Daniel Craig.
Biography[]
Balder was a member of the Illuminati on Earth-838, however later Wanda maximoff assaulted on the Illuminati headquarters, killing him during fight.
Development[]
Balder would be part of a superhero team known as Illunmanti, serving as the team’s core member. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic still went on at 2022, Daniel Craig denied the role. Thus, Marvel replaced him with Mister Fantastic, played by John Krasinski.
Trivia[]
- He is also planned in Thor, Thor: The Dark World, and Thor: Ragnorak. But all got scrapped.
- Balder is briefly mentioned in Thor.
