Juno Masashige (正成 自由) was the main protagonist of The Witch Trials, the prequel game mode of the 2021 Roblox game The Mimic. She is the older cousin of Yasu and a descendant of Kusonoki Masashige.
Biography[]
Juno wakes up in a forest, in an uninhabited village due to unknown reasons. Following the butterfly spirits, she enters deeper inside the forest to a path of unknown. Foreseeing a vision, Juno brushed it off. As she walks across a huge bridge, she sees another flashback again which is scary lady crawling upside down. The flashback caused Juno to question herself. After taking a breath to calm down, she then brushed it off again and continued. She saw a butterfly spirit, which allows her to use it as a key, she took it and used it to open the door. She entered a glowing door since that's where the path led her. The door opened up to a vast, archaic chamber that had four special inhabitants waiting for her, which are the Fleshbags. Juno would figure out from a voice in her head that she had to collect the scrolls from them and did so. She now escapes.
Juno appears to be outside of a Minka, she then enters and sees the same lady from earlier inside the Minka but vanished as she takes a turn. She asked herself what that was and proceeded to go deeper. Subsequently going deep inside, she finds the place very familiar from what she seen while walking in the bridge. She then gets another butterfly spirit found in one of the rooms to use in another glowing door, with a thought of pity for that spirit but she needed to escape. As she exits the Minka, she sees the lady for that last time in that Minka. Juno said and begged to herself to give her mercy before leaving the Minka.
Juno now enters a forest where she must find two blades from two different houses and offer them both on a table inside a temple while surviving from Kazeko and Hanzu Masashige. Although, she has bushes as an advantage to shield herself. Juno finds the light/white blade by finding a house to her right from the entrance. She then finds a key under a tatami and opened a cabinet with the light/white blade inside. Juno then managed to find the black blade by digging two holes that contained a key and a butterfly spirit to unlock the door to the house and cabinet containing the dark/black blade. Once both blades have been offered, the chained exit in the entrance opens and Juno managed to escape Kazeko and Hanzu Masashige roaming around in the forest.
Juno lastly arrives outside of a small town. Once she emerges in the town, she found Mote hanging on a tree with hands which seem to hold the strings attached to her while laughing. Mote persuades Juno that she wasn't a bad mother and that the witch was the one controlling her all along, making her do the terrible things she did. It's unknown what happened to Juno later.
Appearance[]
She is a young woman with a thin body. She has brown hair tied into a ponytail and hazel eyes, along with golden earrings. She wears a brown-gray jacket with orange hints. She also wears a blue blouse underneath it with a harness, completed with black pants. She has a mole on the right side of her lower lip.
Personality[]
Juno appears to have anger issues and a very bad temper as she insulted and swore while venturing in the unknown world and also that she learned to turn her fear into anger. Despite this, she would also take care of Yasu Masashige, even if he makes her angry sometimes. She is also very close to Saeri as she was the only to understand her throughout their lives and after Saeri's death, Juno was framed of killing her which she later isolated herself until Yasu was born. It has been confirmed that she loves sour and sweet food.

- She was replaced by Keiko Masashige, her aunt, as the main protagonist of The Witch Trials.
